Amidst the serene beauty of nature and in the delightful company of fellow plant lovers, we are set for an exciting garden exploration.

Our Summer Garden and Greenhouse excursion kicks off at 9am as we gather at the Siren School to board the big yellow school bus.

By approximately 10:30 am, we will reach the Winter Gardens and Greenhouse, in Winter WI, where a guided stroll awaits us among vibrant blooms and aromatic flowers.

Following that, we will step into the peaceful haven of the greenhouse, showcasing a diverse array of native plants thriving harmoniously.

After, we will enjoy a relaxing  lunch on the patio of  the Red Schoolhouse Wines and Spirits, an authentic 1870s Red Schoolhouse and turn-of-the-century bar. This is a MUST SEE DESTINATION of the Northwoods, with affordable wines including those with 90+ point ratings. Buy a bottle of wine to take home or enjoy it in our pub-like atmosphere or on our patio. Enjoy our gift shop and take home some Northwood treasures. We also offer a full bar with a great bourbon selection along with over 30 craft beers and fantastic food.

The next stop is  the Yellow River Gardens and delight in the beauty there. This greenhouse and gift shop has the widest selection of plants, both annual and perennial, in the entire Spooner area.

The day concludes with a serene break at The Potter’s Shed, a delightful garden café, where we indulge in delectable treats crafted from locally sourced ingredients, enjoy the gardens, and garden art.

Our return to Siren is expected around 5pm.
