Join John Hanson, Owner/Maker of Longfellow Soap Company, in a 2-1/2 hour class to learn how to make soap using the cold process method that has existed for thousands of years. John has been making soap for thirteen years and has been selling soap and teaching classes for ten. Over 500 people have taken his classes and his YouTube video has been seen by over 735,000 people. He has been called the “Bob Ross” of soap making by over 450 people, which he considers an honor. Each student will receive a copy of his teaching manual that includes an ingredient list, equipment list, his recipe, method for making soap, and sources for essential oil, ingredients, and equipment. You will also receive a silicone mold and soap to take home and fill your mold John’s career includes 45 years in retail/wholesale purchasing, product design, material sourcing, carpentry, and custom kitchen cabinet building. He also does wood turning, custom stained glass, and makes lamps using Lake Superior rocks.

You are not considered registered unless you are paid OR arrangements to pay have been made!  All classes are available if you can see them, classes will be removed if full or a wait list will be added. A minimum of 5 people are needed for the class to happen . Registration must be completed 1 week prior to classes. You will be notified via email 2-3 days prior to the event with confirmation and further instructions.
