Participants will have the opportunity to learn essential maintenance skills for their outdoor equipment in a hands-on setting. The instructors will demonstrate each task step by step, ensuring that everyone feels confident and capable by the end of the session. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just starting out, this class will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to keep your tools in top condition.

With a diverse range of topics covered, from basic maintenance tasks to more advanced techniques, there will be something for everyone to learn and apply to their own equipment. Participants can expect to leave the class with a newfound confidence in their ability to care for their tools effectively.

You will learn to: change your oil, change/ check your air filter, when & why to replace the blade, check your gas, install a spark plug, spool a weed whip, properly mix gas, properly store both mowers and weed whips.

The class will be held in the well-ventilated equipment barn at the Benson ACE Hardware store. 

The emphasis on safety throughout the class will ensure that everyone can work with peace of mind and focus on mastering the techniques being taught. Benson Ace Hardware will provide safety gear and requiring closed-toe shoes, we aim to create a secure environment where learning can take place without any worries.

      You are not considered registered unless you are paid OR arrangements to pay have been made!  All classes are available if you can see them, classes will be removed if full or a wait list will be added. A minimum of 5 people are needed for the class to happen . Registration must be completed 1 week prior to classes. You will be notified via email 2-3 days prior to the event with confirmation and further instructions.
