From mice to wolves, Wisconsin is home to a wide variety of mammals. Only 20 of these mammals are
known as furbearers. Do you know what a furbearer is? We will learn about each of the 20 different
furbearers and what makes them special and what makes them different from the other mammals in
our state. Participants will also be able to handle a number of furs and examine them in person. We will learn about life histories, ecology, identification tips & tricks, and management in Wisconsin.
