Unlock the delicious secrets of cooking with flowers! Join us for a unique hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the art of preserving seasonal flavors by making two exquisite treats: a vibrant Dandelion Jelly and a fragrant Lavender Peach Jam. This beginner class covers everything from identifying safe edible flowers to mastering the pectin setting point and sealing your jars. You will leave with 1 jar of each preserve (two jars total), a complete recipe packet, and the confidence to turn your garden blooms into gourmet pantry staples!
- Project: Create two different types of preserves (one jelly, one jam).
- Technique Focus: Flower infusion, pectin science, setting point testing, and jarring/sealing.
- Duration: Approximately 3 hours.
You are not considered registered unless you are paid OR arrangements to pay have been made! All classes are available if you can see them, classes will be removed if full or a wait list will be added. A minimum of 5 people are needed for the class to happen . Registration must be completed 1 week prior to classes. You will be notified via email 2-3 days prior to the event with confirmation and further instructions. How do I pay online?
