Step back in time and experience the fur trade of 1802! History comes to life at Forts Folle Avoine, where bartering between fur traders and the Ojibwe Indians is portrayed as it actually happened almost 200 years ago! You’ll be educated and entertained as the period-dressed guide speaks about the life and culture of these early occupants. Logging Museum, one-room schoolhouse, Blacksmith shop, Visitor Center Museum, the Fur Trade Posts and Indian Village. The walking tour is completed in about two hours. Tour includes some uphill and downhill walking, and golf carts are available to assist visitors. Bring your own picnic lunch to eat before the tour. Seating is available indoor and outdoor. Gift Shop will be open before and after the Tour.
