Pottery, Painting, Quilting, and More!

Pottery, Painting, Quilting, and More!

Experience more creativity this winter… CUE invites community artists, of all skill levels, to take art classes with CUE.

This season, we are offering two Watercolor classes: Winter Watercolor, and Spring Watercolor, led by instructor Sheila Dahlberg. These classes are great for all levels, whether you are just beginning, or an artist who is developing your own style. Enjoy the camaraderie of painting together with an experienced instructor who will offer demonstrations, painting assistance, and critiques. Gain confidence and have fun in this supportive and relaxing class. Bring your own supplies and your work in progress if you desire.

For those of you who are knitters & crocheters, we will offer the Knit & Crochet  class. Join us whether you are a beginner or advanced. If you have a project, bring it to class. Learn or re-learn this skill, including how to follow patterns. Knitting is easy, relaxing, and fun!

Another exciting art class is Pottery. If you are curious about clay, join us for inspiration, relaxation, camaraderie, and just plain fun. Whether you are a beginning or advanced potter, develop your hand-building, wheel-throwing and firing techniques.

A new class we are offering for intermediate quilters is Sewing Beautiful Bags & Totes. Create a beautiful hand bag/tote in this intermediate level sewing class taught by the expert, Vicki Tollander. If you would like to start to learn quilting, you can take the hands on Quilting for Beginners class, also taught by Vicki.

Finally, it’s time to brighten your world with stained glass mosaics! Even the most artistically challenged will go home with an original project that will amaze friends and family. Brighten your room, by day, with a mosaic window or add brilliant light at night, by transforming a re-purposed wine bottle into a hanging pendent lamp.

We have many classes to choose from. So, dive-in, enjoy the options that await you, and have fun being creative this winter.
