Do you love to sing? Sing with Woodland Chorale community choir!
Come audition for this opportunity to perform under the skilled direction of Harry and Chris Johansen. Practices will be on Monday evenings in Luck, beginning January 23, 2012. Participants will gather to rehearse a variety of music. There will be two performances -Saturday April 14 and Sunday April 15, 2012 at Frederic School, to benefit a local need.
2012 Auditions will be held at the following locations, beginning at 6:30pm.
- Monday, January 9 – Luck School
- Tuesday, January 10 – Frederic School
- Thursday, January 12 – Unity School
At the auditions, singers will be asked to sing the first verse of “America” (My Country ‘Tis of Thee), vocalize to the top and bottom of their vocal range, sight-read a simple tune in their vocal range, and read a rudimentary rhythm exercise.
If you sang in the Woodland Chorale this past spring, you do not need to audition again, just let us know if you are interested in participating.
